We are going to meet on Sunday,September 11th 10a.m. at the following location:
49-33 Camp Mohican Rd, Hardwick Township, NJ 07825
This meeting point is trailhead/side of the road parking
The meeting point is near Blairstown, NJ and is a 73 mile drive from the George Washington Bridge
Hike Description:
This 6 mile loop trail takes you to Mount Mohican - aka Racoon Ridge - an exposed ridge offering one of the best viewpoints in New Jersey, with panoramic views of the Delaware River and the Kittatinny Mountains. This hike follows the Appalachian Trail and provides great ridge line views along the entire route. This is rated as a moderate hike.

Following the hike, we plan to have a late lunch at a local restaurant.

Bring plenty of water, a snack, and sun screen. Wear hiking boots or good sneakers and a hat! Be sure to check the weather day of - we will be hiking rain or shine!
